DMCA Notice

At Sportzfy, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and strictly comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page explains our DMCA policy, the process for reporting copyright infringements, and how we respond to such notices.

What is the DMCA?

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a U.S. copyright law that provides a framework for copyright owners to report unauthorized use of their work online. It also outlines how online platforms, like Sportzfy, should handle these claims responsibly and in compliance with the law.

Content on Sportzfy

Sportzfy provides sports fans with access to live streams, updates, and related content. While we strive to ensure compliance with copyright laws, some third-party content or links may inadvertently infringe on copyrights. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without authorization, please contact us immediately.

Filing a DMCA Notice

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe your work has been infringed on Sportzfy, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice. Please include the following details in your request:

  1. Your Contact Information – Full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
  2. Description of the Copyrighted Work – A clear description of the material you believe has been infringed.
  3. Location of the Infringing Content – The specific URL(s) or location on Sportzfy where the infringement appears.
  4. Good Faith Statement – A statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Accuracy & Authority Statement – A statement confirming the accuracy of your notice and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  6. Signature – Your physical or electronic signature.

How We Handle DMCA Complaints

  • Acknowledgment: We will confirm receipt of your valid DMCA notice.
  • Review & Removal: If verified, the infringing material will be removed or disabled.
  • Notification: The user responsible will be notified and provided with a copy of the DMCA notice.
  • Counter-Notice Option: The user may file a counter-notice if they believe the takedown was incorrect.

Filing a Counter-Notice

If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe this was a mistake, you may file a counter-notice including:

  1. Your Contact Information – Full name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
  2. Description of Removed Content – Identify the content removed and its location on Sportzfy.
  3. Good Faith Statement – A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the content was removed in error or does not infringe.
  4. Consent to Jurisdiction – A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or where you reside).
  5. Signature – Your physical or electronic signature.

If a valid counter-notice is received, we may restore the removed content unless the original complainant files a lawsuit to restrict its use.

Repeat Infringers

In line with DMCA requirements, Sportzfy may suspend or terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

Abuse of the DMCA Process

We take DMCA notices seriously. Filing false or misleading notices or counter-notices may lead to legal liability.
